FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Days

Pay: $27.61 - $41.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary: Join our dedicated team to facilitate the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure all equipment and instruments are in good working order. Assist in preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
  • Pass instruments to the physician during surgery while carefully tracking the number and location of instruments and supplies.
  • Receive and process specimens for laboratory delivery.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills, make decisive judgments, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Required Education: High School diploma or GED or Military trained.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.
  • Minimum Experience: 6 months Surgical Tech experience or a graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
