Pediatric Therapist | School & Home Settings | Per Diem | Long Island, NY
Location: Schools and homes across Long Island, NYPosition Type: Per Diem | 1099 ContractorSpecialty: Pediatric TherapyPay Structure:
- Pay up to $100 an hour
Pay per visit:
$75 for 30 min
$85 for 45 min
$100 for 1 hour

Always Compassionate Home Care is seeking experienced Therapists to provide pediatric therapy services in both school and home environments throughout Long Island. This flexible, per diem opportunity is ideal for therapists who want to make a meaningful impact in a child’s daily life—whether in the classroom or at home.
Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized therapy sessions in school or home settings
-
Support development of fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care routines
-
Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to meet IEP goals and care plans
-
Create and implement personalized treatment strategies
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
-
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active during sessions

Additional duties as needed to support child development
Requirements:
-
Active Therapy license and registration in New York State
-
Minimum 1 year of pediatric experience, preferably in school or home care
-
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
-
Physical exam and QuantiFERON within the past year
-
MMR titers within the last 5 years
-
Malpractice insurance
-
NPI number
