Job description:
  • Support the firm's effort to apply sustainable design to natural and man-made coastal, riverine, and aquatic environments.
  • Provide technical expertise in waterfront structure and marine infrastructure projects, including harbors, marinas, vessel mooring and berthing structures, bulkheads and seawalls, breakwaters and shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization, and sediment management.
  • Contribute to project teams from conceptual design to detailed final design.
  • Prepare cost estimates, project schedules, engineering reports, and other technical documents.
  • Conduct fieldwork including surveying and construction observation.
  • Perform responsibilities including site visits and evaluations, concept/solution development, coordination across disciplines, document production, data/spreadsheet management, and construction administration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Coastal, Environmental, Ocean, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • EIT/PE License track required.
  • AutoCAD or Civil 3D experience required.
  • Construction oversight experience desirable.
  • Authorized to work in the United States of America.
