JOB OVERVIEW Job Title: Physician Internal Medicine Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Location: Lawrence, MA Service Setting: Community Health Center Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Days, Full Time On-Call Shift Schedule: As assigned (including backup clinician role) PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Culturally diverse adult population Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: General internal medicine, routine and emergency treatment FACILITY INFORMATION Office Equipment Available: Standard outpatient setup Specialty Backup Available: Referral network Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary healthcare teams Reason for Coverage: Permanent staffing need COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: $200,000-$230,000 annual salary Comprehensive Benefits available Pension Scheme available REQUIRED PROCEDURES General internal medicine evaluations and treatment Chronic disease management and preventive care JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Massachusetts medical license Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Experience: Residency completion in good standing Other Qualifications: - Excellent communication and clinical skills - Bilingual English/Spanish required - Professionalism and confidentiality in patient care - Ability to travel between sites if needed DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive and continuing care for adult patients Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions Maintain accurate and complete medical records Refer patients as necessary and participate in quality assurance Mentor residents, medical students, and other healthcare learners Represent the center in the community and with external authorities Attend continuing education and training programs Participate in system-wide quality improvement initiatives
