Jim Tom State Farm Insurance Agency in Chicago 60618 (North Center), seeks an outgoing, career-oriented professional to join their insurance team for an In-office position. As an insurance licensed State Farm Insurance Agent Representative-Team Member, you will build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, business, life and health insurance, along with financial services products.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish insurance customer relationships and follow up with insurance customers, as needed.
  • Help develop new prospective insurance customers to quote and write State Farm insurance and financial services products.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly insurance customer service. Insurance service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, insurance coverages, insurance policy changes, transfers, insurance claim submissions, and insurance billing clarification.
  • Use an insurance customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
  • Insurance lead generation-proactively seeking out new business opportunities through various channels, including referrals, networking events, and community involvement.
  • Schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market and sell appropriate insurance products.

  • Illinois Property & Casualty and Life & Health Insurance Producers Licenses (must possess or acquire asap)
  • Current or recent experience in the insurance industry with a proven track record in service/retention and/or sales preferred.
  • Prefer candidates who resides near or are a short commute to our office

  • Our office is open Mon-Fri - 9am-5pm.
