General Summary:

As the accountant you will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, and learning about various accounting activities. This position is located 5 days a week in our Columbus, Ohio corporate office.

Accounting Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare monthly financial statements for the various Atrium Centers
  • Maintaining accounts receivable, document bills and supporting documentation
  • Updating financial records via accounting software
  • Maintaining accounts payable, ensure the timely payment of invoices, confirming validity of the debt and gathering appropriate signatures
  • Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets
  • Preparing quarterly budget under the purview of senior management
Education and Experience:
  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 2-5 years within corporate accounting setting
Required Skills:
  • Previous experience in an accounting or financial role; preferred
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel) and accounting software
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to be a team player
