Responsibilities:
- Review the existing customer portfolio to identify shifts in creditworthiness and adjust credit limits as needed.
- Organize, update, and monitor credit and loan documentation within the GP system.
- Evaluate and recommend credit terms for newly established customer accounts.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, escalating matters when necessary.
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers to follow up on outstanding items.
- Maintain current account information by reviewing balances, credit limits, aging reports, and payment history.
- Authorize shipments and releases from credit hold, and clearly communicate reasons for holds to sales teams and customers.
- Process accounts receivable transactions.
- Issue credit memos when appropriate.
- Complete vendor-related documentation and compliance forms.
- Assist the Accounting Department with additional duties as required.
- 4+ years of professional experience in credit and receivables.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Experience working directly in credit analysis and credit term evaluations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Great Plains is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail.
