Caregiver:
We're looking for a compassionate and empathetic Caregiver to join our team This role is for awake overnight shifts. This role doesn't require experience - we will train you If you have CNA, in-home helper, or companion experience - that's a plus As a Caregiver, you can expect to:
- Provide clients emotional and physical support
- Ensure clients are engaged through conversation, games, and other activities
- Assist with activities of daily living including:
- Companionship and moral support
- Coping with the routines of everyday life
- Planning and preparing meals
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Personal hygiene and grooming
- Dressing and bathing assistance
- Reminding to take medication
- Assisting with exercise
- Running errands
- Report client changes and act quickly in emergency situations
- Be reimbursed mileage for client transportation
- 18 years or older
- A current Driver's License
- Personal reliable transportation and:
- Willingness to transport clients in your personal reliable transportation. You will be reimbursed for mileage.
- Current auto insurance and the ability to maintain auto insurance while employed at Visiting Angels.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to provide personal cares such as toileting, bathing, dressing, etc.
- Compassionate, professional, and patient
- No experience required - we will train you
- $15.00 - $17.50 per hour. Compensation based on experience and/or CNA certification.
- Overnight shifts options
- 8 or 12 hour shifts
- Weekday or weekend
