Your role as a CNA will include:

  • Providing personal care and housekeeping assistance to clients in their homes per established care plans.
  • Delivering personal hygiene and grooming care, ensuring clients' comfort.
  • Preparing meals that meet clients' nutritional needs.
  • Reporting any changes in clients' conditions to the care coordinator or supervisor.
  • Performing routine housekeeping and home management tasks.
  • Documenting care provided and submitting care plans punctually.
  • Responding with compassion to the needs of terminal clients, including end-of-life care.
  • Assisting with routine therapy exercises as directed.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred

Licensure/Certification: CNA Certificate approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services required

Experience: Six months experience as Home Care Aide/CNA in a home care agency is preferred
