Waste Handler Responsibilities:

- Remove waste from pallets, trash barrels, wire baskets, offices, production and storage areas, lab and maintenance areas

- Organize and inventory all waste and recycled materials stored in facility

- Monitor and assist the production department to ensure all waste materials are stored in the proper containers and that the containers are properly labeled

- Prepare all loads for shipment in accordance with DOT regulations

- Use appropriate machinery to wash, rinse, crush, shred, or chip drums, containers, etc. to decontaminate bulk

Requirements for Waste Handler:

- Previous forklift experience

- Able to stand for duration of shift

- Able to lift up to 100 lbs. semi-repetitively

- Able to work in hot or cold temperatures
