PACU RN – TAVR Nurse Navigator Qualifications

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience (PACU, Cardiology, or related specialty preferred)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Strong communication, organizational, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to float within skillset as needed

Key Responsibilities for PACU RN – TAVR Nurse Navigator

• Coordinate care for Structural Heart and TAVR patients, including pre- and post-procedural support for Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement and open-heart surgery
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Oversee pre-admission testing and ensure smooth patient flow through the cardiac clinical program
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and deliver professional presentations
• Abstract and submit clinical data to the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR)
• Mentor and educate new Cardiac Research Assistants
• Support the development of a dedicated Valve Clinic and contribute to TCV Research Program expansion
• Maintain high standards of patient care and ensure compliance with all clinical protocols and procedures
