Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Location (city, state): On-site in Kent, WA
Compensation: $30 - $36 / hour
Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Qualifications:
- 5+ Years of AP experience
- Technically savvy- strong Excel skills, Great Plains, Coupa, and Concur are a plus
- Manage daily payment batches, including preparing, reviewing, and submitting ACH and wire transfer files
- Oversee and maintain the AP inbox, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of inquiries
- Serve as primary point of contact for vendor communication, addressing questions, discrepancies, and payment status requests
- Execute full-cycle AP processes including invoice receipt, coding, 2- and 3-way matching, approval routing, and entry into the accounting system
- Process high volumes of invoices, primarily related to supplies and contractor services
- Partner with internal teams to allocate invoices appropriately as they arrive and ensure accurate distribution across departments
- Support month-end close activities by managing increased invoice volume and ensuring all AP transactions are recorded accurately and on time
- Assist with process improvements, documentation updates, and other AP-related tasks as needed
