Shift: 2nd Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Pay Range: $26.10 - $39.15

Your Role: As a Surgical Technologist I, you will play a vital role in the operating room, applying your skills and attention to detail to assist in delivering outstanding patient care. Your efforts will help facilitate surgeries in one of Wisconsin’s largest healthcare facilities.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures, utilizing aseptic techniques.
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment, setting up equipment and supplies necessary for surgeries.
  • Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating their needs.
  • Transport patients and supplies, and ensure the proper functioning of surgical equipment.
  • Maintain knowledge of various procedures and act as a second assistant when required.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols in a fast-paced operating room setting.

Educational Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift and carry equipment, navigate a high-pressure environment, and adhere to safety protocols.
  • Capable of standing, bending, and moving during shifts to provide optimal patient care.
