Senior AWS Cloud System Op role. We are trying to fill 2 more slots before the final RFP comes out. ll candidates must have a TS/SCI and work onsite in a SCIF 5 days a week.

Please note that we are accepting individuals that have between 8-10 years of experience, and they don't need RHCE cert. (but if they have it then that is a PLUS.

Here are the qualifications for the position again:

Qualifications:

  1. At least ten (8-10) years of overall experience in one or more of the functional areas listed below. A bachelor's degree in related field required. A master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
  1. 8-10 years IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms. Proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure.
  1. Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration related to ability to manage and operate workloads on AWS systems.
  1. Demonstrated experience in system administration support and management related to Amazon EKS.
  1. Demonstrated experience in system administration and supporting development and test teams in AWS and along with an applied understanding of Kubernetes and traditional RHEL servers.
  1. Kubernetes CKA certification and/or training and two years applied experience on containerized platforms.
A senior level AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator should have at least three (3) of the following Trainings or Certifications below and at least two (2) years applied experience with Container Orchestration and/or application deployment. Four (4) years proven relevant experience may be substituted as applicable to each certification.
  1. AWS Cloud Practitioner (Foundational)
  2. AWS SysOps Administrator (Associate)
  3. Operating a Production Kubernetes Cluster
  4. Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
  5. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
