At Principled we are partnering with an early-stage HealthTech startup that's rethinking primary care from the ground up, pairing cutting-edge diagnostics with AI-driven care plans to help people live longer, healthier lives. Backed by founders with multiple unicorn exits and a leadership team with deep clinical, product, and AI expertise, this is a rare chance to shape the foundation of a mission-driven product with real-world impact.

They're now looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to own the web experience across both desktop and mobile, bringing clarity, speed, and delight to complex medical data and clinician workflows.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking the lead on frontend architecture across the stack React, TypeScript, Next.js
  • Shipping polished, end-to-end features from pixel-perfect UI to backend wiring with Node and GraphQL
  • Translating dense lab reports and clinical tools into simple, intuitive user experiences
  • Establishing reusable components, UI standards, and a front-end testing culture
  • Helping set the tone for speed, quality, and engineering culture in a small, focused team
What You Bring
  • 4-10 years in product-focused engineering roles, with 3+ years deep in React.
  • A strong design sense and comfortable taking Figma to production with excellent motion and UX instincts
  • Willingness to dive deeper in the stack when needed (think Postgres, Prisma, AWS)
  • Bias toward action. You'd rather ship and iterate than over-meet
