Job Summary:
This Patient Access Representative III role focuses on securing and providing information to patients and funding sources for registration, scheduling, and authorization of inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services. The position requires experience with managed care health plans, scheduling, registration, billing, and/or claims payment, along with knowledge of medical terminology or relevant healthcare experience.

Responsibilities:
- Secure and provide appropriate information to patients and their families.
- Register patients for inpatient, outpatient, and diagnostic services.
- Schedule appointments and obtain authorizations for services.
- Verify insurance, authorization, and eligibility requirements for health insurance carriers.
- Perform data entry functions.
- Provide excellent customer service.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Experience with EPIC software.
- Knowledge of basic computer functionality.
- Demonstrated customer service skills.
- Ability to type and perform data entry functions.
- Knowledge of insurance verification, authorization, and eligibility requirements.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with managed care health plans.
- Knowledge of scheduling, registration, billing, and/or claims payment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
