We're on the lookout for a talented Lead QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in developing the future of our Automated QA Environment, working on exciting challenges in robotics and video platforms. This is your chance to make a significant impact on our product while expanding your skillset across various technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions to ensure the platform's reliability across all environments, including Browser+Electron (TS+React), Desktop (Go+Rust), and Embedded (Go+Rust).
  • Establish and enhance automated QA testing processes, creating initial integration tests, and mentoring your peers in test writing.
  • Develop and continuously improve processes to automate the QA workflow.
  • Ensure a reliable and dependable experience for every Iris customer, regardless of their production budget.
  • Keep current with emerging trends and technologies in QA, including the evolving role of LLMs and AI agents in the process, and adapt your understanding accordingly.
What We Seek
  • Demonstrated expertise as a software engineer with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Experience in automated QA for both web technologies and robotics.
  • Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, and Rust (or a willingness to learn Rust).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for thriving in a remote environment.
  • A passion for innovation and a track record of ownership over complex projects.

Compensation: $137,000 - $205,000 annually
