Are you ready to make a difference in the operating room? We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I for our General Specialty PM shifts. In this vital role, you will support patient care through your expertise and attention to detail.

Location: Aurora St Luke's Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a clean, safe, and efficient surgical environment, utilizing aseptic techniques to prepare materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist the surgical team by anticipating needs, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Set up and dismantle operating rooms for various procedures, operating necessary equipment and returning items post-surgery.
  • Support patient positioning and transportation, demonstrating physical capability and proper technique.
  • Maintain specialty carts and ensure the availability and sterility of supplies and equipment.
  • Function as a Second Assistant in surgeries as needed, enhancing team efficiency.

  • A competitive pay range of $26.10 - $39.15 based on experience and qualifications.
  • Sign-On Bonuses: $10,000 available for eligible new hires and an additional $2,000 for PM shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is needed within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience required, making this a great opportunity for recent graduates
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques and operating room equipment is preferred.
