As a Nursing Assistant Intern, you will benefit from paid, hands-on training and mentorship to acquire essential skills in resident care. This entry-level position allows you to earn while you learn with experienced healthcare professionals guiding you through classes, lab sessions, and clinical experiences, preparing you to take the Certified Nursing Assistant exam.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in training to obtain knowledge of healthcare protocols and procedures.
  • Learn fundamental nursing skills under supervision.
  • Assist nursing staff in delivering daily care to residents.
  • Support residents with daily living activities such as bathing and grooming.
  • Collaborate with the care team to enhance residents' well-being.

Rate of Pay: Starting at USD $15.75/hr.

Qualifications for Nursing Assistant Intern:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Interest in caring for the elderly and chronically ill.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in a Long-Term Care environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
