Project Manager - Transportation | Role Overview
As a Project Manager - Transportation in the Chicago Region, you will manage and deliver a wide range of transportation projects, including:
- New roadway construction
- Roadway rehabilitation and reconstruction
- Traffic signal design and improvements
- Transportation planning and feasibility studies
Project Manager - Transportation | Key Responsibilities
The Project Manager - Transportation will:
- Manage multiple transportation projects across the Chicago Region
- Prepare and monitor project budgets
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Lead project teams and mentor engineering staff
- Coordinate with public agencies and municipal clients
- Support marketing and business development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with IDOT standards, including Phase I and Phase II design
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong knowledge of IDOT standards and procedures
- Familiarity with MFT requirements preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license

$110,000 - $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
