Prisma Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Carolina, is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Urologist to lead our Division of Urology within the Department of Surgery. This key position offers exciting opportunities to innovate and expand adult and pediatric urologic services across the Midlands region.

The Division Chief will report directly to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and will be instrumental in driving the division's clinical and academic growth. Our department is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System and Artemis MRI Fusion Technology. You will have the support of a dedicated office and Advanced Practice Provider staff who are committed to delivering exceptional, high-quality care.

This role includes an academic appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor level at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and you will have the opportunity to mentor and work closely with medical students. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about clinical excellence and eager to expand the division through multidisciplinary partnerships. Strong communication skills and a proven track record of successful team leadership are essential for this position.

Requirements:

  • Board certification in Urology from the American Board of Urology
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience
  • Demonstrated prior administrative leadership experience

Prisma Health-Midlands plays a vital role as an exceptionally busy health system, serving nearly one million residents and acting as a key tertiary referral center for complex surgical needs across a large portion of the state.
