The Senior ICU Nursing Manager reports directly to the Critical Care Service Line Nursing Director, and this Nurse Leader has two dedicated ICU Nurse Supervisors reporting up to ensure cohesive operations. This interconnected team structure promotes synergy with multiple disciplines, from physicians to allied staff, to maintain optimum care.
The Senior RN Manager leads a high-acuity Critical Care Unit that features 20 ICU beds and an additional 15 stepdown beds for progressive care. This fast-paced environment is powered by dedicated RNs, CCRNs, and other Critical Care professionals who take pride in collaborative, patient-centered treatment. This integrated unit that sees a mix of patient, including Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Neuro, fosters mutual respect and interdisciplinary teamwork to deliver top-tier care.
Neuro ICU leadership experience and union management expertise will surely stand out, ensuring an efficient and supportive environment for the entire team. The Senior RN Manager of the Critical Care Unit plays a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring staff through education development, performance evaluation, and implementation of clinical quality improvements. This role oversees budgeting, staffing, and operational processes to align with the organization's goals and regulatory standards.
