As a Behavioral Health Tech (BHT), you would play a key role in creating a safe, supportive environment for clients. You would assist with admissions, help clients adjust to the program, monitor their well-being, and ensure their safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have two years of continuous sobriety prior to hire, if a recovering alcoholic or drug addict and participating in a self-help program
  • General knowledge of substance use and and mental health disorders
Responsibilities
  • Assist with client admissions, orientation, and belongings inventory.
  • Monitor and ensure client safety, whereabouts, and well-being.
  • Facilitate orientation groups and support program participation.
  • De-escalate client issues and address AMA situations calmly.
  • Supervise meals, group activities, and maintain cleanliness.
  • Participate in shift turnovers, staff meetings, and required trainings.
  • Remind clients of program rules and report infractions appropriately.
  • Provide emotional support while referring clinical concerns to therapy staff.
  • Complete documentation, incident reports, and UA collections accurately and timely.
  • Communicate with staff to ensure quality client care and smooth operations.
  • Maintain professionalism, boundaries, and sound judgment in all interactions.
  • Follow company policies, report safety concerns, and perform additional duties as needed.

Pay: $16-$19/hour

Schedule: Full-time; Sunday-Thursday Overnights (11pm -7am)
