What You'll Get To Do as a Senior DevSecOps Engineer:
  • Support a large government software modernization program while providing leadership and technical expertise for IT system delivery.
  • You'll contribute with program leadership and support technical governance, policies, and procedures in support of system integration and delivery standards.
  • You'll use your technical capabilities to analyze system architecture and performance to make recommendations and present findings to senior leadership
  • You'll implement standards and monitoring of assistive components for delivery.
  • You'll design and develop improvements to the modern continuous integration continuous delivery pipeline and perform site reliability engineering tasks.
  • You stay up to date with technologies and trends to support modern software engineering practices.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure as code on large scale multi-site deployments.
  • Support AI/ML initiatives and utilize experience to evaluate and assess new ways to scale platform capabilities.
  • Automate workflows to push the limit of the infrastructure and enable continuous delivery of capabilities onto a hybrid infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot issues until root causes are understood on high traffic production systems, participate in design and code review processes, interact with product owners to coordinate infrastructure changes.
  • Identify bottlenecks and improve performance of our platform.
Requirements
  • Must have a US Citizen to obtain a DHS suitability clearance.
  • BS degree with 10 years of experience as a SME technologist.
  • Expert in Agile, CI/CD pipeline, AWS, and cloud-based microservice architecture practices and implementations across multi-vendor large teams.
  • Eight-plus (8+) years of experience working in Operations, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering
  • Five-plus (5+) years in configuration / package management experience using tools like Terraform, Helm etc.
  • Five-plus (5+) years of experience with Cloud service monitoring like Prometheus, Grafana, FluentD, ElasticStack, Prometheus, SumoLogic, etc.

Clearance: Top Secret or TS/SCI
