We invite applications for the position of Head of Financial Reporting to lead our financial reporting, treasury operations, and lender compliance for a dynamic and expanding regional consumer lender. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for managing GAAP reporting, overseeing warehouse lending activities, and ensuring all credit facility obligations are met to support precise reporting and robust liquidity. You'll engage in both technical accounting and hands-on treasury work, requiring a solid understanding of multi-institutional credit frameworks. This role reports to the company's senior financial executives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP financial statements along with comprehensive reporting packages.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including effective cash management, liquidity forecasting, and warehouse lending activities.
  • Ensure accurate reporting for credit facilities, asset-based lending structures, and compliance with covenants.
  • Maintain lender models, providing timely and precise financial, investor, and compliance reports.
  • Support the budgeting process, forecasting, and variance analysis to meet financial planning requirements.
  • Develop and uphold internal controls to guarantee accurate reporting and protect company assets.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax consultants, and lending partners.
  • Manage technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, lease accounting, and implications from acquisitions.
  • Integrate new business initiatives and acquired entities into existing accounting and reporting frameworks.
  • Prepare dashboards, key performance indicators, and materials for leadership and board meetings.
  • Offer guidance to accounting personnel to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Experience with warehouse lending, credit facilities, and lender reporting is advantageous.
  • Proven expertise in covenant compliance, treasury operations, and liquidity management is beneficial.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and applicable technical accounting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and effective communication.

Compensation

  • Base salary ranging from $125,000 to $150,000.
