Overview

Join our team as a dedicated Data Quality Specialist, where your meticulous attention to detail will be essential in ensuring our core organizational data remains accurate, consistent, and reliable. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the governance and quality of critical master datasets, including customer, product, and operational data. Your efforts will guarantee that trustworthy information is accessible across systems for effective reporting, analytics, and decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead initiatives to enhance data integrity, creating a cleaner, more dependable data landscape.

This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of customer, product, and operational data across various systems.
  • Establish and manage data governance policies and procedures to uphold data integrity and compliance.
  • Work alongside IT and business teams to refine data models that enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
  • Conduct regular audits of data quality to identify and resolve discrepancies while maintaining high data standards.
  • Support the creation and upkeep of master data records using standardized protocols and consistent taxonomy.
  • Create and deliver training sessions for end-users on best practices for master data management and data entry protocols.
  • Take the lead on cross-functional projects aimed at standardizing, consolidating, and optimizing master data throughout the organization.
  • Design and generate custom reports and dashboards for stakeholders to monitor data quality and trends effectively.

Essential Skills

Data Governance: Expertise in implementing policies to guarantee data accuracy and security within the organization.

Data Quality Management: Proficient in auditing, monitoring, and rectifying data to ensure its reliability and accuracy.

Master Data Integration: Experience in consolidating and creating a unified source of truth from multiple data systems.

Metadata Management: Skill in organizing and categorizing data for efficient governance and analysis.

Data Lifecycle Management: Knowledge of data creation, storage, archiving, and compliance procedures.

Data Modeling: Proficient in designing structured data representations to support business objectives.

Experience Required

  • High attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining clean and reliable data.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, intricate datasets.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise documentation for all master data elements and processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Industry-related experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
