Senior Business Analyst -

The Accounts team within t he Information Services organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with at least 8 years' experience to assist the Accounts reference data team in key deliverables. AMC accounts (eSALES) is the strategic reference data settlement platform for account needs serving lines of business. Data quality and Client account data must be available, accurate, and complete for global financial markets.

Successful candidates will exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and be able to work in a dynamic team environment across multiple regions.

Job Description
• Work with global user base to gather business requirements, write functional specifications and interface with the technical team to convey requirements
• Work with PMO (program management office) on Book of Work, JIRA sizing with help of development teams, attend prioritization calls with operations and business stakeholders per project need
• Prepare and execute test scripts to prove functionality was delivered according to outlined specifications prior to user engagement
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) providing training as required, responding to user inquiries and tracking testing progress
• Provide BAU support, performing the necessary analysis to respond to user inquiries
• Provide local oversight of Accounts BA/QA resources
• Build relationship with local Accounts Control team, gaining an understanding of current procedures and driving future Accounts related enhancements towards the improvement of operational efficiency and data quality
• Ability to work on a existing complex system and quickly comprehend and contribute in short span of time.

Required Skills
• Bachelor degree in MIS
• Minimum 8 years of Business Analyst experience
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries using Oracle
• Data Oriented with an excellent attention to detail
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Visio, Project with ability to put together strong analytical presentation materials
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork skills in a small local setting, as well as across different geographic locations
• Quick learner with ability to produce high quality work while under pressure

Preferred Skills:
• Background in capital markets Client and Account reference data
• Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
