Otolaryngology Surgeon

The Position:

MarinHealth ENT, Head & Neck Surgery | A UCSF Health Clinic

Join our well-established practice, providing comprehensive otolaryngologic care to the community for over 40 years. As part of the MarinHealth Medical Network since 2021, we are the largest and longest-running otolaryngology group along the coastal California corridor.

Our collaborative team of four Otolaryngologists and two Audiologists works together to optimize patient wellbeing and physician satisfaction. With a focus on both clinic and operative settings, our physicians typically operate 1-2 days per week, while the remaining days are dedicated to patient care in the clinic. We encourage our physicians to pursue subspecialty interests in alignment with community and practice needs.

Due to high patient volume, we are seeking to add two more surgeons to our team. Our practice operates from a single office located near downtown Santa Rosa, conveniently close to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, where we provide on-call consult services and perform surgeries at both outpatient centers and inpatient hospital ORs.

Position Highlights

• Full-time position focused on practice growth.
• Equal group call shared among physicians (1:5 ratio).
• Opportunities for UCSF academic appointments or teaching available, based on interest.
• Utilization of Epic electronic health record to connect with local and regional academic hospitals.

Candidate Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree required.
• Board certified or eligible (with intent to become certified within 2 years) in Otolaryngology.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in California.
• Strong commitment to patient care excellence and positive patient experiences.
• Specialty niches are welcomed, although comprehensive otolaryngology care is provided by all physicians.
• Spanish language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting salary at $400,000 plus potential productivity bonus, with anticipated higher earnings upon reaching partnership.
• Guaranteed base salary for 2 years (including productivity bonus) with a transition to a partnership track in the 3rd year, allowing for production-based income and options for a 4-day clinical work week.
• Starting pay may vary based on experience, patient care schedules, and additional qualifications.
