This Opportunity

WSP is seeking a Junior Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls team out of our Glastonbury, CT office. This individual will be physically reporting to a field office in Norwalk, CT. This is a hybrid position.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Junior Construction Scheduler to join our Project Controls Group, supporting rail/transit and bridge projects in the Connecticut region. This role offers hands-on experience with major infrastructure programs and mentorship from senior schedulers.

Your Impact

Job Duties:
  • Reviewing contractor schedules for compliance with contract documents
  • Tracking and verifying progress against baseline schedules
  • Preparing schedule updates, progress narratives, and graphical reports (Gantt charts, histograms)
  • Supporting "What-If" and recovery schedule scenarios
  • Assisting with Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and claims reviews
  • Developing planning schedules and resource/cost loading concepts
  • Participating in schedule review meetings and collaborating with project teams
Who You Are

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 years of experience in construction scheduling or related field office/inspection work (field experience is a major plus)
  • Familiarity with any scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to prepare clear written reports
  • PMP, PSP, or completion of Primavera courses 102/106 is a plus
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or at any point in the future

Compensation:

Expected Salary (all locations): $73,480- $90,200/year

WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
