• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19::00)

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1570-$1610
• Patient Ratio: 6:1
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend
• Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Orientation: 12 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience (no first-time travelers)
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic EMR/charting system required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
• Clinical skills: Feeding tube care, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, isolation precautions, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oral suctioning, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, IV starting/maintenance, telemetry, rapid response/code team participation
• Preferred: Community hospital experience, Trauma Level I/II experience
• Two supervisory references (Manager or above) highly preferred

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with diverse medical and surgical diagnoses
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform procedures within RN scope of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services)
• Maintain infection control and isolation precautions
• Respond to rapid response and code situations as needed
• Float to other units within the facility as required
• Work every other weekend and be available for major holidays per assignment policy
