Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a dual modality CT/X-Ray Technologist with at least one year of experience in both CT and X-ray for a weekend shift position.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Level III regional hospital
• Role covers both CT and X-ray modalities
• Weekend schedule: Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Position may flex for critical staffing needs
• On-call required every fifth or sixth weekend, depending on staffing
• No floating required
• Uses Epic EMR
• Equipment includes GE C-arm, Siemens CT/DI, and Siemens Drive 256 slice dual source/dual energy CT scanner
• May be asked to work in the OR with GE C-Arm and perform routine radiology exams
• Pediatric cases may occur, but peds experience is preferred, not required
• Main responsibilities include performing CT and X-ray procedures, including in the OR and for routine radiology exams
• Must be able to adapt to critical staffing needs and cover weekend shifts
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Up to 10 days of RTO (requested time off) allowed, except during December 21, 2025 – January 3, 2026 and other specified blackout dates
• Candidates must have housing secured prior to consideration due to high local housing costs
• Local candidates are eligible if residing more than 75 miles from the facility

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a CT/X-Ray Tech, with at least 1 year in each modality
• Current ARRT (R)(CT) and AHA BLS certifications required
• Experience with C-arm, and competency in head/chest/extremities is required
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Knowledge or experience with Siemens Drive 256 slice CT scanner and CCTA is preferred
• License required if applicable
