Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support Chick-Fil-A as a Student Team Member on the Savannah Campus beginning Spring 2026. The Chick-fil-A Student Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting with food preparation, order fulfillment, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented food service environment while upholding the high standards of Chick-fil-A and Georgia Southern University Dining Services.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
- Greets customers warmly and provides excellent customer service
- Takes customer orders accurately and efficiently at the register or through mobile ordering systems
- Prepares and packages food orders according to Chick-fil-A standards
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
- Restocks inventory and supplies as needed
- Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Works collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations
- Assists with opening and closing duties as assigned
- Adheres to Chick-fil-A's customer service and quality standards
- Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management
- Up to 25 hours per week
- Flexible with schedule of availability
- Available Shifts Monday - Friday,
- 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
- 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Educational Requirements
- Must be enrolled in six or more undergraduate credit hours or three or more graduate credit hours at Georgia Southern University.
$10.00 per hour
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
