About the Role
Join our dynamic Golf Ball Manufacturing Operations team as an Electrical-Mechanical Technician In this engaging role, you will take charge of troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing the reliability of our production equipment. Your proactive approach in implementing preventative and predictive maintenance practices will be vital in achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild intricate electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic production machinery.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure seamless operational sequences and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with Engineering to design and modify equipment suited for specific project needs.
- Test, calibrate, and repair electronic and electromechanical instruments to comply with industry standards.
- Maintain precise records of work performed in a computerized maintenance system.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold all safety regulations.
- Fulfill additional tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
Qualifications
- Education: A high school diploma is essential; vocational training is a plus.
- Experience:
- Option 1: Completion of TPC educational requirements and 3 years in electrical maintenance.
- Option 2: Technical Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.
- Option 3: 7 years of industrial experience in the electrical field (must complete TPC training for skill gaps).
- You must provide your own trade tools.
Skills & Credentials
- Exceptional mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Formal training in AC/DC circuits and PLC fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, instrumentation, and control processes.
- Competence in reading blueprints, schematics, and equipment specifications.
- Proficiency with computer tools and measurement devices.
- Familiar with Lockout-Tagout and NFPA 70E safety standards.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
