Job Title: Principal Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)

Position Location: Sterling, VA

Description:

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to support the design and development of advanced space-grade power systems. Our client's Modular Power System (MPS) requires strong technical experience in digital, analog, and power electronic design. You'll be involved in the entire product lifecycle from requirements development, through preliminary design, critical design, prototype, test, and production.

Background:
  • BSEE or related Engineering Degree and at least 7 years of professional experience (degree can be substituted for applicable years)
  • Understanding of power electrical design and independently troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues.
  • Experience with digital, high-speed circuit design, including schematic and PCB layout
  • PCB Design: (Cadence/Altium)
  • CAD Design: (OrCAD/Allegro/Altium)
  • Firmware Design: (VHDL/Verilog)
  • Aviation and Aerospace industry experience and/or experience designing products for operation in-space or radiation environments
