Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical and administrative support while following company policies.
- Monitor x-ray orders for timely completion and submission.
- Assist patients in proper positioning to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
- Review exam images for initial readings and send them for further evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including health information management practices like HIPAA.
- Triage patients, check vitals, and gather pertinent medical history.
- Perform basic nursing tasks when not directly involved in radiological exams.
- Conduct equipment maintenance and monitor for malfunctions.
- Engage in continuous learning and uphold company values of teamwork, communication, and quality care.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Current ARRT License (Registered Technologist) and State License (if applicable).
- Must hold a valid CPR certification, with additional certifications like IV and TB required within 60 days of hire.
- Experience levels vary based on years of direct patient care – from new graduates to veteran radiologic technologists.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent.
