Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP TM (Transportation Management).
  • Minimum 2 full lifecycle implementations / rollouts in SAP TM.
  • Ability to independently own Transportation Management within larger SAP projects.
  • Experience in S/4HANA TM configuration:

    • System settings, master data, transportation networks, carriers, rates, business processes.
  • Knowledge of 4PL integration with SAP TM.
  • Experience in customization, extensions, integration, and enhancements in SAP TM.
  • Strong business process knowledge across transportation/logistics domain.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (Public & Private Cloud).
  • Understanding of integration across SAP modules and non-SAP systems.
  • Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
  • Understanding of RICEF developments (ability to guide technical teams).
  • Knowledge of SAP roadmap, new innovations, and version differences.
  • Ability to mentor junior consultants and manage priorities in a collaborative environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Drive workshops with business users and gather requirements.
  • Provide solution direction and best practices for SAP TM.
  • Configure, build, test, deploy, and support Transportation Management processes.
  • Ensure seamless integration with 4PL and other SAP/non-SAP systems.
  • Deliver SAP TM projects as part of S/4HANA implementations (onsite/offshore model).
  • Collaborate with global IT leadership and business partners to align SAP TM with business goals.
  • Create and maintain documentation standards as per company guidelines.
