POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Easton Motors This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience for an individual pursuing the automotive trade. You will learn how to conduct a variety of different mechanical jobs by shadowing master technicians that have over twenty years of experience in the field.

POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Rotate through our divisions of responsibility and provide ideas to grow and assists our Technician and Master Technicians as needed.
  • Engage with customers or clients regarding service, maintaining professionalism and confidentiality as appropriate.
  • Conduct vehicle oil changes.
  • Complete tire mounting, balancing, repairs, replacements, rotations, etc.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
  • Conduct full-service detailing as assigned by Service Manager.
  • Conduct removal of trash and scrap metal and empty oil caddies.
  • Complete vehicle inspection worksheets.
  • Conduct internal job shadowing as assigned to learn advanced technical skills.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Experience:
  • 1 year of previous mechanical experience preferred but not required
License(s)/Certification(s):
  • Valid Class D driver's license
Other Requirements:
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Applicants must be 18 years of age.
