Description
In this role, you will partner with our engineering and MD team on a few projects and initiatives You will be involved with the details of various operational work, will help facilitate cross functional meetings, and will be in charge of making sure projects are on track, and project deliveries can happen within the expected timelines Proactively plan and educate partners to influence change and drive program or project adoption and advocacy. You will build relationships with peers and cross-functional partners to clarify expectations, identify risk and adjust priorities accordingly You will be responsible for actively keeping managers and key partners informed of progress, changes and risks

Responsibilities
• You will oversee project schedules, activities, milestones and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Work with the stakeholders to identify project priorities and evaluate and rank project priorities against each other
• Compile weekly status updates for management
• Facilitate cross functional collaboration and work across teams to understand dependencies
• Lead the development and implementation of business process improvement strategies and initiatives.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing processes and workflows and recommend solutions to optimize efficiency, productivity, and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, conduct process assessments, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Drive process change management efforts, ensuring smooth transitions and effective adoption of new processes.

Here are some details for what we need to do (project scope):
• Build a web-based application for internal use
• Design and implement a SQL database to store cost variables, formulas, and product data
• Create an intuitive UI for data entry, editing, and cost calculations
• Generate cost estimates for proposed product designs based on input parameters
• Provide basic reporting/export functionality

Requirement:

Qualifications
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Tenacious problem solving & issue resolution skills
• Ability to toggle between strategic and detail orientated thinking
• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic and rapidly changing environments
• Proven track record of successfully driving and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to understand technical terminology and work with engineering teams
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Proven project management skills including communication strategy, establishing goals and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and appreciation for data
• Experience working with large datasets
• High degree of proficiency in Excel, Numbers, Keynote
• Experience with Tableau, a plus

Needed skills
• Database design: Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL or MySQL preferred)
• Backend development: Python (Flask/Django) or Node.js
• Frontend development: HTML/CSS/JavaScript (React, Vue, or similar framework)
• Data modeling: Experience structuring relational databases
• CRUD operations: Building forms for creating/updating data

Preferred
• Experience building calculation engines or formula-based tools
• Previous work on pricing calculators, configurators, or similar applications
• Understanding of manufacturing or costing concepts
• Clean, maintainable code practices
• Basic documentation skills

Compensation
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience, as well as the benefits package you select.
