WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with Marketing/Design to interpret design concepts into 2-dimensional patterns
- Consult with product triad to clarify concepts and lend pattern-making and fit technical expertise
- Create first models from concept pictures
- Incorporate styling and fit changes determined by design/marketing/development during fit sessions or design process
- Inspect and critique samples to ensure quality standards
- Create and/or revise product specifications with construction details for production
- Ensure specifications detail construction methods that optimize profitability
We are seeking a qualified candidate with the following educational and experience requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 5 years directly relevant work experience
- PhD or Law Degree + 3 years relevant experience
- Master's Degree + 4 years relevant experience
- Associate's Degree + 6 years relevant experience
- High School Diploma + 7 years relevant experience
