Introduction
Join our Global Materials Planning & Sourcing organization, where we optimize material supply to flexibly respond to consumer demand. We're looking for innovative collaborators to help revolutionize material supply planning and sourcing by investing in People, Process, and Technology to drive efficiency and flexibility across the end-to-end supply chain.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Working with materials, not finished goods.
- Work will mostly be done outside of systems - in order to create plans & gain insights, will need to be collaborative, build relationships with product & sport category teams among others.
- Experience with textiles would be very valuable.
- 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning (Supply, Demand, Materials, etc.), Manufacturing and/or Logistics functions
- Understanding of Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) basics, Demand, Production and Capacity Management, including key metrics. Ability to interpret driving factors and implement corrective actions
- Understanding of Manufacturing best practices and key metrics. Ability to evaluate and recommend improvements in manufacturing strategies to meet inventory and service objectives
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (not necessarily Footwear or Apparel)
- Experience aligning cross-cultural, virtual teams
- Previous project management experience
- Experience with textiles
- Lead and coordinate cross-functionally to identify and resolve risks and opportunities across the Materials Plan.
- Collaborate with upstream partners to provide clear, timely materials demand signals for Apparel materials.
- Analyze Apparel materials demand and capacity, executing mitigation processes to ensure on-time production of materials from key vendors.
- Fostering a culture of belonging and inclusivity
