Position Summary: The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of all tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. This role ensures the dish room remains clean and orderly while supporting the kitchen and dining room operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently.

• Ensure the dish machine is clean and immediately report any mechanical or functional issues.

• Monitor water temperature in the dish machine to guarantee a sanitary wash cycle.

• Wash and properly store all tableware and kitchenware.

• Keep the dish room clean and well-organized.

• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for the dining room and kitchen operations.

• Bag and transport trash to the dumpster as needed.

• Handle all tableware with care to avoid breakage or loss.

• Monitor and maintain sufficient levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.

• Clean food preparation and production areas, as well as the dish room, as required.

• Be ready to fill in as necessary to ensure smooth restaurant operations, as directed by the restaurant manager or supervisor.

• Perform daily cleaning of walls, floors, sinks, mops, and cooler floors.

Qualifications:

• No prior restaurant experience is required.

• Physically capable of lifting, reaching, bending, and stooping.

• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours).

• Able to safely lift bags, cases, and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.

• Current, valid California food handlers card
