Currently seeking a Chemical Engineer I in Corning, NY. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

  • Pay: $25-33/hr.
  • 10-month assignment with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
  • Position will mainly be responsible for preparing and analyzing samples using ion chromatography equipment and pH meters to provide results for research and development project groups.
  • Position will be responsible for pH testing of nitrates and salt samples.
  • Must be able to work as part of a large team, have good communication skills while working internally with the team and with internal customers, external vendors, and be willing to work some overtime as requested.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree is Required, Bachelor's Degree is Preferred.
  • Experience with analyzing IONs and using ION chromatography is Required.
  • Experience with pH testing of nitrates and salt samples is Highly Preferred.
