About The Position

Seven Healthcare is excited to offer a rewarding travel nursing opportunity for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) in Norfolk, VA. This assignment offers a competitive weekly blended rate of $2,450 for three 12-hour day shifts per week.

- Assist in all phases of perioperative nursing care including preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative activities
- Prepare operating rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and surgical teams during procedures
- Monitor patient status throughout surgery and respond promptly to changes
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with hospital policies
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are accounted for and properly sterilized
- Provide patient education and support regarding surgical procedures and recovery
- Active Virginia Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact state eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an operating room or surgical nursing setting
