Clinical Nurse Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager who will oversee the daily clinical operations of our Critical Care Unit and Telemetry. This role involves coordinating work and call scheduling for CVIR nurses, ensuring effective orientation and training for staff in best practices, and driving the implementation of strategies to enhance productivity, caregiver engagement, and patient satisfaction.
As a critical part of our team, you will establish strong communication with physicians and staff to align with the needs of the Cardiovascular Service Line while collaborating directly with the Clinical Director of Critical Care Services to improve our overall service lines.
Your participation will be vital in fulfilling the mission of our organization and demonstrating values that resonate with our core principles, supporting our strategic plan and Performance Improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current RN license and BLS, ACLS certifications; national certification in specialty preferred.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years in clinical roles within progressive care services, with at least 2 years in management.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION:
- Responsible to: Director of Critical Care
- Responsible for: Critical Care Unit, Telemetry
ENVIRONMENT:
Working in a well-ventilated, clean, smoke-free environment, exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and unpredictable situations is expected.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to engage in multiple activities of patient care, manage emergencies, and endure prolonged standing/walking. Must be able to assist in patient transfer, with capability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs. Flexibility in hours is required to accommodate changing schedules and emergencies.
