Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Test Engineer with a strong focus on Playwright to join our vibrant team. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation, a deep understanding of software testing methodologies, and a passion for quality assurance, we want to hear from you This is a remote opportunity that provides flexibility while contributing to challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute robust automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Design and implement effective test automation frameworks and strategies.
  • Work closely with development and QA teams to identify testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Analyze testing results, troubleshoot issues, and deliver constructive feedback to the development team.
  • Continuously enhance and optimize test automation methodologies and processes.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and software quality through functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Mentor junior team members in test automation best practices and techniques.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in test automation tools and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in test automation with a strong emphasis on Playwright.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript, Java, Python, or PHP.
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket pipelines, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Proven experience in testing APIs and desktop software applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with other test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, TestNG, JUnit) is a plus.
