• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure systems while prioritizing simplicity and maintainability.
• Address complex technical challenges across the stack while driving innovation for efficient solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a strong culture of learning and professional growth.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and partner closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define work priorities, ensuring high-quality feature delivery.
• Uphold exceptional standards for code quality, testing, and software development practices.
• Assume ownership of features from inception to deployment, influencing specifications and building backend services.
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance processes, tools, and technologies.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on modern web development.
• Proven ability to architect and implement complex, distributed systems in production environments.
• Deep understanding of full-stack development principles and scalable system design.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Track record of building complex web applications and managing large datasets.
• Demonstrated adaptability to learn new technologies.
• Experience with high-performance and scalable web applications.

• Prior experience in startup environments.
• Previous Senior+ positions.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain.
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript projects.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and practices (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
• Experience with real-time applications using WebSockets or Server-Sent Events.
• Familiarity with message queues and event streaming (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog).
• Experience with progressive web applications (PWAs) and mobile-responsive design.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications.
