Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will oversee high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate essential functions within the PACU during your shift. Collaborating closely with the management team, you will direct and assess nursing care, serving as a resource for staff and embodying the mission and values of our organization to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating smooth admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient and quality care.
- Continuously assessing the quality of patient care services with other management team members.
- Fostering a collaborative atmosphere with subject matter experts and managers to improve care outcomes.
- Championing a patient-first approach and engaging in service recovery when necessary.
- Implementing nursing strategies and initiatives to enhance staff and patient engagement.
- Providing input on hiring, training, and staff development to foster a skilled team.
- Assisting with staff scheduling and managing labor in line with patient care needs.
- Overseeing inventory control and managing supplies and equipment effectively.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Relevant PACU experience
- A full-time commitment of 40 hours per week with some on-call responsibilities
