Job Title: Logistics Specialist

Duration: 12-month contract (potential extension or conversion)
Pay Rate: $27-$30/hr (W2)
Benefits: Weekly pay, Medical, Dental, Vision
Shift: 4x10 (Mon-Thu), 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview
The Logistics Specialist plays a key role in Warehouse & Distribution operations, ensuring accurate and efficient movement of materials in a regulated cGMP environment. The role supports daily product logistics activities, including receiving, storing, issuing raw materials, and distributing finished goods. This position also requires accurate data entry into business systems and adherence to compliance, safety, and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick, pack, and ship products with accuracy according to customer orders.
  • Move materials using manual labor, pallet jacks, and forklifts (GMP and non-GMP supplies).
  • Transport materials and equipment between sites using company vehicle (if required).
  • Perform daily activities in compliance with company safety policies, SOPs, and training.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and cycle counts for products/materials.
  • Enter data into business systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) with high accuracy.
  • Maintain records in accordance with corporate retention requirements.
  • Participate in department projects, including investigations, analysis, process improvements, documentation, and communication of results.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred (not required).
  • Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
  • Proficiency using PC applications and business operations systems; SAP S/4HANA ideal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts as needed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (if applicable).
