Job Description

Sr. Electrical Engineer open in the Dallas, TX area.

Summary:
A Sr. Electrical Engineer opportunity to design electrical systems for exciting new construction and renovation projects, with a focus on the design of systems supporting mission-critical facilities. Projects will be multi-discipline, and the ability to adeptly coordinate with other disciplines is required.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our clients to understand their needs, constraints, and criteria for success.
  • Develop design solutions, weighing the benefits and risks of various options, and helping the client choose a path forward.
  • Lead the project team in developing design documents (conceptual design, equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, energy modeling, etc.)
  • Coordinate all design disciplines to ensure a comprehensive, code-compliant, and constructable design.
  • Manage the client's expectations throughout the design process.
  • Communicate with colleagues, external consultants, and vendors to meet objectives and schedules.
  • Serve as the Owner's representative during construction (RFI response, Submittal review, Site inspections, etc.)
  • Provide mentorship to less experienced designers and engineers.
Required:
  • 6+ years of experience in the MEP industry
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or higher)
  • Professional Engineering License (or on track to obtain)
  • Prior experience using Revit preferred
Location: Irving, TX
Duration: Permanent
Salary: $95-$115K
