Job description
We're looking for experienced and professional candidates who can independently perform patient care. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) should be reliable and take care of patients in acute care in a professional and considerate manner.
You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor.
.As a CNA you'll have to
• Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
• Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs
• Helping patients eat and take medications
• Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
• Exercising patients by helping them walk
Requirements:
• High School Diploma/ GED (or higher) OR 2+ of customer service experience
• Current, unrestricted CNA license in the state of California
• 1+ years of experience evaluating, assessing, and providing patient care
• Ability to work a variety of shifts
• Access to reliable transportation to conduct patient visits, and a valid driver's license
• Comfortable working with electronic medical records and mobile technology
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential job function of this role.
